On Wednesday Penrith & District Farmers held the Annual May Sale with 33 entries drawn from 10 leading North Country Herds. A quality show of modern, milky young cows and heifers attracted clients from all over the UK.
Top honours went to the Winbrook Herd. Their top priced animal being Winbrook Amy 13, a new calved dark roan heifer sired by the Australian bull “Panorama Anticipation” making 2,020gns to an undisclosed buyer. All classes created a lot of interest with the following averages being obtained: –
