Well loved local golf club, Eden Golf Club and Garden at Eden, based in Carlisle, were named runner’s up at this year’s prestigious National Family Business Awards in the Large Hotels, Leisure & Tourism category.
Having won the Cumbrian regional accolade in March of this year, the team at Eden Golf Club and Events went through to the national finals which was celebrated with an awards reception at The May Fair Hotel in London.
Organised by Family Business United, The Family Business of the Year Awards were created to celebrate and showcase the UK family business sector, to recognise the diversity of family firms across the country and to celebrate the contribution that they make to business. Eden Golf Club was nominated due to the family business’ nature, values and its outstanding representation of the Leisure & Tourism sector.
