A series of workshops will be held next month for people thinking about starting their own business.
Cumbria Business Growth Hub will host the web-based workshops – Is my business idea a good one, Enterprising women in Cumbria and Building blocks of an entrepreneur.
They begin on February 11.
Cumbria Business Growth Hub offers support for businesses.
Since the start of April 2019, its Business Start-Up Support programme has supported 686 individuals, 368 young businesses, and has helped over 100 new businesses start up.
The Growth Hub anticipates there will be an even higher increase in business start-up queries during this current lockdown.

Lesley Robinson, business support manager, said: “The new year is always a time when people think about the future and make changes. Whether it’s turning a hobby into a business or being forced into self-employment due to COVID, our Business Start-Up Support programme is here to help.”
The Business Start-Up Support (BSUS) scheme is a £1.4million project, funded by Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, Carlisle City Council, South Lakeland District Council, Sellafield Limited and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
