Carlisle Ambassadors has welcomed its 400th member.
The group, set up in 2015, is made up of like-minded businesspeople who want to benefit from a strong and influential network and are interested in making a difference for the future growth and development of the city of Carlisle.
Carlisle Ambassadors is designed to grow and promote business development opportunities for the district.
At its recent event, Carlisle Ambassadors welcomed Enterprise Answers as its 400th member.
Enterprise Answers is Cumbria’s only Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) and the only rural CDFI in the North of England. It is a sustainable, independent organisation providing financial services across the region with the aim of creating social improvement and business development returns.
Michelle Masters, Carlisle Ambassadors project lead, said: ‘’We have seen a steady growth in our membership over the last eight years and we hope to develop our membership further in the coming months and years.
“We firmly believe that building long term effective relationships through local business networking, opens up opportunities leading to business growth. As we all know spending time in the company of the right people is an investment in your business’s future.”
Leader of Carlisle City Council John Mallinson added: “It’s great to see Carlisle Ambassadors welcoming more members and going from strength to strength. Carlisle has a lot to offer and we should be proud of the economy and our businesses.”
Carlisle Ambassadors is funded by Carlisle City Council.
