Business law firm Baines Wilson has earned high praise in the latest edition of Chambers UK, the prestigious national guide to the legal profession.
The 2023 Chambers, just published, recommends Baines Wilson for corporate and commercial work.
It says: “Baines Wilson provides in-depth advice on a range of corporate matters and merger and acquisition deals. The firm also has expertise in management buyouts, management buy-ins, joint ventures and shareholder agreements. Its lawyers have specific experience in the transportation, retail, and banking and finance sectors.”
As an example, it cites Baines Wilson advising WCF on the acquisition of the business and assets of the Drummohr Holiday Park near Edinburgh.
Andrew Hill, a partner at Baines Wilson and head of corporate and commercial, is singled out as a notable practitioner.
Chambers has been a source of independent legal market intelligence for more than 30 years. Its team of 70 researchers assesses and ranks law firms and individual lawyers for their technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence and commitment.
Baines Wilson, which has offices in Carlisle and Lancaster, was similarly endorsed in the 2023 edition of the Legal 500, a rival publication to Chambers.
