A vacant Carlisle restaurant – last used as a cannabis farm by criminals – has been sold for £93,000.
Bari, on West Tower Street, closed in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was put up for auction with a guide price of £35,000 with Auction House.
It sold for more than double that at the sale on Thursday at the city’s Halston Hotel.
Described as derelict, the agent said the three-storey 3,300sq ft building was suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning approval.
