Cockermouth-based tech firm Createc, which provides innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges, has announced the opening of a subsidiary company, Createc Norway.
The announcement was made on Wednesday 8th November at an event hosted at the British Embassy Residence in Oslo.
Createc Norway officially commenced operations in August, leveraging a decade of successful operations in the region.
The firm’s projects include research, development and commercial application of robotics and sensing technologies targeted at work in hazardous environments, working with Norsk Nuclear Decommissioning ‘NND’, Cognite, and the Institute for Energy Technology ‘IFE’.
Mark Sharpe, sales director of Createc said: “The expansion represents many years of hard work and dedication by our team.
“We already have some great client relationships in Norway, and we’re excited to bring Createc’s expertise even closer to our Norwegian clients.”
British Ambassador to Norway Jan Thompson said: “I congratulate Createc on opening their Norwegian office.
“For both the UK and Createc this is an exciting move that will boost economic growth and jobs through deployment of their technology, as well as providing an opportunity to further deepen cooperation with partners in this region.

By establishing Createc Norway, the company will further enhance its responsiveness to the growing needs of the Nordic region, providing tailored solutions and fostering stronger relationships.
