A leading law firm is expanding in Cumbria, with the opening of a new South Cumbrian office.
Burnetts has opened its office within Cumbria Tourism’s headquarters in Staveley.
It will offer specialised services for leisure, tourism and hospitality businesses, as well as Burnetts’ full range of commercial legal advice.
The new office will be led by Burnetts’ corporate partner Jennifer Bell and will offer corporate, commercial, employment and property services, as well as focused legal advice for the leisure, hospitality and tourism sectors.
This latest addition to Burnetts’ offering comes hot on the heels of the law firm’s recent relocation of its Newcastle team to a state-of-the-art premises at the city’s 1 Citygate. Burnetts also has offices in Carlisle and Cockermouth.
Michael Walby, Burnetts’ partner and head of corporate, said: “It’s been a longstanding ambition for us to open an office in the South Lakes. We are well connected in this area, and we see many opportunities for continued growth, including recruitment, as we intend to build our team here.
