A Lake District hotel is on the market for £2.5 million.
The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, in the Langdale Valley, was originally a farmhouse and became a hotel in the 19th century. It served as a shop and petrol station in the 1950s and 1960s and was also an outdoor adventure centre in the 1980s.
It was a family-run hotel business from 1991 and in 2021, it was bought by the RedCat Pub Company.
The 23-bedroom venue is now up for sale with Everard Cole.
It also includes a residents’ bar, snug, residents’ lounge, restaurant, and the Walkers’ Bar.
