Whitehaven entrepreneur Oliver Hodgson has been honoured among the most promising future business leaders on Insider Media’s prestigious 42 Under 42 for 2025.
The annual list celebrates 42 of the brightest and most dynamic entrepreneurs under the age of 42, recognising their innovation, leadership, and contributions to the business community.
This year’s event took place last week in Manchester Deansgate Hotel.
At just 21 years old, Oliver is the youngest named in the 2025 list.
He launched his Cumbrian-headquartered PR and marketing agency, Platinum Live, five years ago, two weeks into the coronavirus pandemic.
Founded when Oliver was just 16, Platinum Live has grown from his father’s conservatory into a full-service agency working with a diverse portfolio of clients, including major brands, local government, charities, and high-profile individuals across Cumbria and the wider UK.
Oliver said: “The event in Manchester was fantastic, and it was motivating to meet so many talented and ambitious entrepreneurs. I’m incredibly proud to have been included on the list; it’s a real honour, and a testament to the unwavering support of my team, our clients, and my family.”
