Businesses and individuals are being given the opportunity to fire questions at specialists from a leading accountancy firm in a unique, speed-dating style event.
Saint & Co Chartered Accountants is hosting Quickfire Questions: Post-Budget Special on Wednesday, December 3, inviting people to ask whatever tax or business finance questions they want answering following the Autumn Budget, to be held on November 26.
At the free event, guests will have access to nine tax and accountancy specialists from Saint & Co and will be given the opportunity to speak to up to five of the staff members on a one-to-one basis for eight minutes each during the two-hour event.
In between sessions, there will be time for guests to network with other attendees or grab some breakfast, festive mince pies and hot refreshments.
Lindsay Farrer, a managing partner at the firm, said: “Businesses, charities and organisations always have questions around tax and their finances particularly after the Budget announcements, and Quickfire Questions is a way of us providing free, easy to digest advice to benefit those operating in our local area.
“By holding a speed dating-type event, we want to make sure people engage with the advice in a fun and informative way, and we think this is a great opportunity for people to benefit from some useful and practical guidance.
“We always say that tax doesn’t need to be taxing and we want to reassure people that we’re here to help, so being on hand to provide some free assistance seems a worthwhile venture.”
Quickfire Questions will be held at The Auctioneer in Carlisle’s Rosehill Industrial Estate and will be held between 8.30am and 10.30am on December 3, seven days after the Autumn Budget.
Free bacon and Cumberland sausage sandwiches, festive mince pies and cups of tea and coffee will be served.
