A Cumbrian marketer has been elected as a fellow of a professional body.
Lisa Jackson, founder of Acorn Marketing, has been elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the highest level of recognition by the UK’s leading professional body for marketers.
The title is reserved for senior marketers with significant strategic and board-level experience, and acknowledges those who have made standout contributions to their industry through ongoing learning, mentoring, and championing best practice.
Lisa joins 15 professionals in Cumbria to achieve this distinction.
Lisa’s 25-year career has taken her from the marketing teams of major visitor attractions, such as The Beatles Story in Liverpool, to leading campaigns for theatres, festivals, museums, wildlife parks, and cultural venues across the UK.
She said: “Being awarded FCIM is a proud milestone in my career, but it’s also about championing best practice and raising standards for the clients and communities I serve.
“Arts and tourism have always been close to my heart. I believe that when marketing is done with creativity, clarity, and a strong strategic focus, it can transform organisations, helping them reach new audiences, secure funding, and make a meaningful impact.”
