Local agricultural machinery dealer Lloyd Ltd has announced the opening of a Lancashire branch, following the expansion of the firm’s New Holland territory to Preston.

Lloyd Ltd Lancashire is located near Garstang with facilities comprising a workshop, parts building and office cabin where the experienced team is on hand to support the company’s customers throughout Lancashire for sales, service and parts.

There is an extensive stock of parts available as well as express delivery from group stock and manufacturers.

Parts manager James Lowther and parts advisor Abbie Holden are on hand to provide help and advice, and to ensure orders are managed promptly.

They will also be working closely with agricultural engineers Richard Unsworth and Ethan Reece to provide parts for scheduled maintenance and repairs under the guidance of service manager Lawrance White.

Due for completion shortly, the workshop facilities will mean they are able to service and repair machinery on site. The engineers are also able to travel directly to customer’s business premises thanks to their fully equipped vans.

Sales specialist Toby Quinn has already been building customer relationships across the area over the past few months with the support of sales manager Mark Dixon and is available for demonstrations and sales enquiries.

New Holland products will be sold from the branch, covering their range including tractors, balers, combine and forage harvesters, skidsteers and backhoe loaders.

Quality used machinery will also be available, including machines taken in part-exchange for local sales as well as access to over 250 items in Lloyd Ltd’s group stock.

Lloyd Ltd Lancashire’s dealer principal Jonathan Bell said: “It has taken some time to find premises suitable for supporting our new area in Lancashire so we are excited to be able to announce that Lloyd Ltd Lancashire is now open for business.

“The team has been busy preparing the facilities to ensure we have everything we need so we look forward to welcoming our customers to the site and to supporting them throughout the area.”

Managing director George Lloyd said: “Our partnership with New Holland is key for our business so, having been awarded both New Holland’s Tractor and Hay and Forage Dealer of the Year awards as a reflection of our performance in 2023, we are looking forward to continuing that commitment by building close relationships with our new customers in this new area and showing them the exceptional level of support they can expect from our Lloyd Ltd Lancashire team.”
