A leading Cumbrian accountants has been handed a major national accolade.
Lamont Pridmore was named Chartered Accountants of the Year (England) in the Global 100 Awards.
The firm was selected from hundreds of practices across England for the award, which recognises the leading professionals from around the world in various fields.
Having demonstrated excellent customer service throughout the last 12 months and continued support for businesses, as well as further growth, Lamont Pridmore was carefully selected by a panel of judges.
Graham Lamont, chief executive, said: “It’s always great to win an award. It makes me immensely proud of all our staff that we have achieved such success and is a testament to all their hard work and dedication that we have received it.

It is the third year in a row that Lamont Pridmore has been honoured at the Global 100 awards, after previously being named Chartered Accountants and Tax Adviser of the Year in the UK in 2022 and 2021.
