A new female networking group will launch in Penrith this month. Pink Link connects women in business via networking events and its online community.

It aims to bring women together to build relationships, share knowledge and help them grow their business. It already has networking groups in Carlisle and Kendal and is now expanding into Penrith.

Pink Link says the network brings women together to share ideas and experiences and explore ways to make them happen.

A spokeswoman added: “It creates a support system with like-minded entrepreneurs who have similar aspirations to succeed in business.”

Pink Link looks for ways for their members to increase their economic impact and expand awareness of their brand both locally and further afield through a variety of platforms including meetings, an online network, conferences, and the Enterprise Vision Awards.

The Penrith launch will take place on Friday 8th January at 9.30am.

Guest speaker is the award-winning entrepreneur, Kirsty Ridge. managing director of the South Cumbrian Lakeland Inns Group and Lakeland Brewhouse.

She said: “I’m delighted to be invited to support Pink Link at their Penrith launch.

“It’s important to highlight how networking can boost female entrepreneurship in the region.

“I’ve experienced first-hand opportunities through Pink Link and the Enterprise Vision Awards to develop my business and meet other successful entrepreneurs who have inspired and empowered me to take my business to the next level.”

Network facilitator and double Enterprise Vision Awards winner, Alison Magee-Barker said: “After the successful launch of Pink Link in Kendal and Carlisle it was only natural to launch Penrith shortly afterwards.

“Having seen the difference Pink Link has made in Cumbria already, it will be a great way to start 2021, helping women to showcase how amazing they are and help each one to connect, build relationships and increase their business throughout the North West.”

Places are limited. Contact Alison via the Pink Link website at www.pinklinkladies.co.uk/penrith-networking/as soon as possible to reserve a place.
