[C]BA Events, a nationwide events management company situated in Keswick, Cumbria, has recently appointed four new members of staff to its dynamic team.

Katie Stuart will be supporting the events planning team as Events Co-ordinator. Originally from Buckinghamshire, Katie decided to move to Cumbria after years of holidaying in the Lake District. She has a background in the outdoor and travel industry, making her perfectly suited for her role.

Originally from New Orleans, Claire Richards gained a degree in Public Relations from Louisiana State University before moving to Cumbria to gain experience at Armathwaite Hall, a stunning country house hotel in Bassenthwaite. Claire has joined the busy venue finding department at CBA Events.

Accompanying Claire will be Ellie Jones. As well as venue finding, Ellie will be joining the team as Marketing Co-ordinator. Having completed her degree in English and Journalism, Ellie made the move from London to the Lake District to share her knowledge with local motorsport company, M-Sport.

As the official in-house activity provider for Graythwaite, a luxury family-run country estate on the shores of Windermere, CBA has appointed Matt Slater to join its Graythwaite events team.  Having spent years in several chief instructor roles, Matt is well-positioned to co-ordinate Graythwaite’s activities and live events.

Sara Young, CBA Events Director is thrilled with the new appointments, stating: “It’s an exciting time for us at CBA Events with new ventures and more new client accounts to manage this year.”

“In order to service these, we were keen to expand the team and we’re really pleased to welcome them all, bringing a range of experience and fresh ideas to the company.”
