On the 11th June 2018, Lakeland CBD opened their doors to their office at the Atlas Works in Denton Holme Carlisle. Hailed as Cumbria’s first Cannabis Company, Lakeland CBD have embarked on a journey into one of the UK’s newest upcoming industries.

Starting with little more than 4 products on their shelves, they now offer over 20 different products including capsules, topical creams, cosmetics, bath-bombs and soaps!

The CBD & cannabis industry has seen huge growth over the last few years being dubbed “the green rush”. With a reported 1.3million users across the UK. Studies show that CBD is used to boost your endocannabinoid system to balance out mood, pain, sleep, digestion, sleep, memory and even motor function.

Since opening in 2018 Lakeland CBD have consistently sourced unique, quality and innovative products to offer the people of Cumbria and now further afield.

Several retailers across the county now stock Lakeland CBD, including Little Vape Cave on Hensingham in Whitehaven, Strange and Beautiful on John Street in Workington and Nchantments in Gourock, Scotland.

Nic Hewitt, Director of Lakeland CBD said: “Since we opened in June 2018 we’ve gone from strength to strength. We started off with a small amount of stock and since then we’ve immersed ourselves in the industry worked with suppliers across the world to make sure that we’re providing quality products that our customers have come to recognise us for and to keep up with the innovation and development of new product. Over the last few months we have started to develop our own products in house and we gave out over 100 Care packages to Nurses and Keyworkers at West Cumberland Hospital to see what they thought of our potential new products, we’ve had some amazing feedback and this has spurred us on to start making and creating.

“With a sideways move into making our products in house, we are hoping to establish good working relationships with local retailers who can stock a whole range of Lakeland CBD oils & Cosmetics to make our products available to everyone on the high street.”

Luke Woodend, Director of Lakeland CBD said: “Covid 19 and lockdown has shown that as a company we can change, adapt and accomplish, without changing the ethos at the heart of our operation which is to help people.”

To celebrate their 2nd Birthday, Lakeland CBD have launched their highly anticipated “Immune Booster” Capsules, which contain CBD, Vitamin C and essential oils to support your immune system to improve your health and wellbeing in a number of ways. Check them out here.

There is currently a 20% off sale across their website to celebrate their birthday and all their products are available online and delivered straight to your door www.lakelandcbd.co.uk

You can also contact them through social media, Facebook, Insta & Twitter or alternatively drop them an email at [email protected] or if you are a retailer who would like to consider stocking Lakeland CBD drop them a message at [email protected]

Happy Birthday Guys! Can’t wait to see where you are this time next year!
