Marks & Spencer has today announced its newest Food store in Ulverston will be open from 29th July, at 9am.

Located in the Beehive Retail Park the store will be led by Store Manager, Simon Craig, alongside his team of 60 colleagues. In line with the opening, M&S Barrow will close the day before, with most colleagues moving across to the new store. The M&S team will continue to offer the community the very best service to make sure they can get everything they need when they shop at Ulverston, drawing on M&S’s 135 years of serving the British public.

Store Manager, Simon Craig, has worked at M&S for 36 years and said: “My team and I are really excited about our new store in Ulverston. When open we’ll be working hard to provide outstanding service and help make every penny count for the community. Our new Food store will offer thousands of great quality food products and customers will also be able to shop for the full Clothing & Home collections via M&S.com, using our Click & Collect service. We’re really looking forward to welcoming the community and, when open, our store will have measures in place to reflect the latest guidelines, to ensure everyone can shop safely and with peace of mind.”

The new store will offer thousands of M&S’s quality and great value food products, from daily essentials and fresh produce from M&S Select Farms, to dinner favourites and ready-to-go family meals. Offering the opportunity to try something new with the family, customers visiting the store will also be able to enjoy the Cook With M&S range. This includes mealtime shortcuts and store cupboard staples, all featured in the new Cook With M&S cookbook, sharing fast, fresh and easy recipes to transform family meals.

M&S Ulverston will also offer the full range of M&S Clothing & Home products via its Click & Collect service. Customers can opt for next day pick up if they order online by 10pm the night before on M&S.com and the store will also offer hassle free returns. With 60 free car parking spaces, the store is ideal for convenient Clothing & Home collection.

The store will be located at Beehive Retail Park, and will be open Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 8:00pm, and on Sunday, 10:00am – 4:00pm.
