South Lakeland businesses can now apply for the Government’s one-off Restart Grants.
The grants for businesses affected by the coronavirus restrictions are being administered by South Lakeland District Council in two strands:
- Non-essential retail businesses: Businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or below will receive £2,667, a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 will receive £4,000 and a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive £6,000.
- Hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym or sport business premises: Businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or below will receive £8,000, a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 will receive £12,000 and a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive £18,000.
