A new brewery is set to launch in Carlisle.
West Walls Brewing Co, based at the former Twisted Wheel premises at West Walls, is a collaboration between The Halston and Borderlands Brewery.
Work on the site to transform it into the brewery has begun and it is hoped it will open before the end of the year.
Simon Harrison, of The Halston, said: “This dynamic project encapsulates our mission of bringing about urban renewal while enhancing the hospitality experience for Carlisle’s community. We’re proud to play a pivotal role in reanimating a historic part of our city.”
Fergus Campbell, of Borderlands Brewery, added: “It’s a significant moment for us. The shared vision between Borderlands Brewery and The Halston has culminated in an opportunity to introduce our new, high-quality product line to a wider audience in Carlisle and beyond.”
