Businesses in Kendal will get the unique opportunity to build up their contacts – and fast – during an evening of speed networking next month.
Cumbrian entrepreneurs, business owners and managers can expect a night of accelerated connections as LA23NET hosts a speed networking event at The Venue, in Kendal, on Wednesday November 8.
During the course of the evening, people will get to meet different businesses for a few minutes at a time, to share what they do and why they’re great to work with.
Emma Lindsay, recruitment director of NXT Recruitment, said: “This is an amazing opportunity to actually sit down and talk unapologetically about your business, with people that are genuinely interested.
“Speed networking is fast paced, but by the end of the night not only have you been able to introduce people to what you do, but you also find out more about some of the other brilliant businesses in our region.
“There’s not another event like this in Cumbria and I’m really looking forward to seeing who we get the opportunity to meet – and potentially collaborate with – in November.”
Helen Statham, director of Intro PR and Social Media, who organise LA23NET, said: “At our first speed networking event in February everyone was absolutely buzzing after making all of these new connections in such a short space of time – we knew it wasn’t going to be the last time we did it.
“The Venue in Kendal is the perfect setting for speed networking; it’s relaxed, there’s good beer at the bar, and there’s plenty of space to switch seats as you get the chance to meet everyone in the room. It’s going to be slightly chaotic – but that’s part of the fun.”
LA23NET is organised by Intro PR and Social Media, and sponsored by Edwin Thompson, The Cumberland, Harrison Drury and NXT Recruitment.
Speed networking in Kendal with LA23NET takes place at The Venue, Kendal on Wednesday, November 8 from 5.30pm. Tickets are £35 plus VAT, and includes pizza from Fiery Mammas and beer from Bowness Bay Brewery, and can be bought at https://bit.ly/LA23_SpeedNetworking
