Metcalfe Civil Engineering has relocated as a result of the department’s rapid expansion and increasing workloads.
The department has moved to 40 Business Park, Gillan Way in Penrith from the town’s Gilwilly Industrial Estate.
Matt Healey, contracts director, said: “We are thrilled to move into our new office space at 40 Business Park.
“This move represents an exciting milestone for our department, allowing us to better serve our clients and accommodate our growing team.
“The new office provides us with the space and resources we need to continue delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.”
The firm’s other operations, including plant hire and logistics, will remain at Gilwilly Industrial Estate, with the training department continuing to operate from the West View Training Centre in Penrith.
The firm said the move would open up opportunities for it, including the option of future expansion as Metcalfe continues to grow and take on new projects.
