A Cumbrian recruitment firm is backing Eden Valley Hospice.

Foxgroves Recruitment, which is based in Penrith, has joined the charity’s Club 24 – which funds care for 24 hours at the hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.

Lyndsey Fitheridge, CEO and founder of Foxgroves Recruitment, said: “Joining Club 24 is a wonderful way to give back to the community that has supported our growth.

“We are committed to making a positive impact and will continue to support the hospice by being a member of Club 24 which is a donation of £877 over the year or just over £70 a month as well as regular quarterly donations based on £30 per candidate placed in a new vacancy in Cumbria.”

Martha Pardoe, relationship fundraiser at Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw, added: “We are incredibly grateful for Foxgroves Recruitment’s support. Their contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of local families during their most challenging times.”

Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw offers specialist care for adults and children with life-limiting conditions, providing support that goes beyond medical needs to include emotional and practical assistance for patients and their families.

By joining Club 24 and pledging to donate £877 a year, businesses can help cover the cost of 24 hours of care for one patient.

This milestone is particularly meaningful for Lyndsey Fitheridge, who has come full circle from earning a degree in human resources to becoming a commercial director and now owning her own growing HR & marketing recruitment firm.

Lyndsey is an active member of the Cumbria Careers Hub, where she volunteers as an Enterprise Advisor supporting schools across the Eden region.
