Cumbria Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Swayed Greyhound to run a sales training course designed specifically for hospitality businesses to help their front-of-house staff maximise sales while maintaining outstanding customer service.

From Service to Sales: Boosting Hospitality Revenues is a full-day workshop led by Ian Graham, of Swayed Greyhound.

It teaches practical, natural sales techniques that enhance guest experiences while maximising average spend per guest.

In today’s financially challenging climate, mastering sales is essential for hospitality businesses.

By sending their staff on this course, businesses can ensure they are primed and ready for the busy season ahead.

The course covers everything from sales theory to simple and actionable selling techniques.

Course content is delivered in interactive sessions and delegates are asked to bring a copy of their menu to apply what they learn on the day.

The course takes place on Monday, April 8, from 9.30am to 4.30pm at Stonecross Manor Hotel, Kendal and is £200+VAT for Cumbria Chamber of Commerce members and £250+VAT for non-members.

Ian Graham said: “This workshop is an investment. The techniques I teach are designed to be put into action immediately, helping teams increase guest spending in a way that feels natural, effortless and helpful to your guests.

“I fully expect that anyone attending will see a return on investment within a month, as these proven strategies quickly translate into higher sales and better guest experiences.”
