A Cumbrian leadership expert will relaunch his best-selling book this month.
Based in Kendal, Neil Jurd is widely recognised for his work transforming leadership in education, business, and the armed forces.
He was awarded an OBE in 2021 for services to leadership development and youth, and his practical, values-driven approach has helped shape the way organisations think about leading people.
Already hailed as essential reading, The Leadership Book is designed to make leadership accessible, actionable, and rooted in real human connection.
Neil said: “This book isn’t about corporate jargon or complex theories. It’s about clarity, compassion, and helping others to thrive. I’m proud to be launching it here in Cumbria, where so much of my inspiration comes from.”
Neil, a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and a former Army officer, now focuses on leadership development through his writing, speaking, and his learning platform, Leader Connect.
The Leadership Book will be officially relaunched in hardback and audio at an event at Windermere School on Monday, June 16, from 7pm to 8.15pm.
