
Two Cyclife companies have merged to form a single UK-wide entity.
Cyclife UK and Cyclife Aquila Nuclear will now be known as Cycliff UK Ltd.
It said the merger would enhance its ability to deliver comprehensive, turnkey solutions decommissioning and waste management and across all stages of the nuclear lifecycle.
Based at the Lillyhall Industrial Estate, near Workington, it employs 170 people and is a subsidiary of EDF Group.
Its metal recycling facility provides strategic support to decommissioning programmes.
Joe Robinson, managing director of Cyclife UK, said: “Cyclife provides an integrated offering from strategy through engineering realisation to waste management to the UK’s nuclear and related sectors.
“Combining the strengths of Cyclife UK with Cyclife Aquila Nuclear will create a more robust and capable UK entity, further enhanced by Cyclife’s
international expertise in decommissioning and waste management.”
With over than 40 years of industry experience, Cyclife Aquila Nuclear specialised in the design, manufacture, installation and testing of bespoke equipment for the nuclear industry.
The company employed over 130 people at its Hampshire site.
