Cartmel Racecourse plans to grow its business relationships as it celebrates its 170th anniversary.
It has engaged Adele Neale, founder of Cumbrian sales consultancy Conexiones, to promote the racecourse’s on-course sponsorship, advertising and promotional opportunities to businesses across the region.
Cartmel Racecourse attracts more than 80,000 visitors annually.
Geraldine McKay, director of racing at Cartmel Racecourse, said: “We are delighted to be working with Adele.
“Cartmel is a very special place with a strong sense of heritage, community and occasion, and Adele brings an excellent understanding of the local business landscape alongside a practical, relationship-led approach to sales.
“As we look to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with businesses across South Cumbria and beyond, her experience and insight will be invaluable.”
Adel is Cumbrian born and bred and has extensive experience working with organisations across the region, helping them develop commercial partnerships,
sponsorship strategies and sales pipelines rooted in strong local connections.
Her client portfolio includes sporting organisations such as Barrow AFC, Barrow Raiders and Barrow Golf Club.
Adele said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be working with Cartmel Racecourse and honoured to be associated with such a prestigious Cumbrian brand.
“The racecourse has a unique character and reach, and I’m excited to help local and regional businesses explore how they can connect with audiences at Cartmel in a way that feels authentic and commercially effective.”
The appointment forms part of Cartmel Racecourse’s wider plans to develop its commercial offer.
