A Lake District boutique hotel is on the market for £1.5 million.
The Hideaway at Windermere is owned by Richard and Lisa Gornall, who took on the property in 1991.
The pair are now planning to retire and the property is being marketed by Christie & Co.
The 19th century building has 11 en suite bedrooms, lounge and dining area.
With a number of original features, it also has a 15-space private car park, gardens and self-contained three-bedroom owner’s accommodation.
Richard and Lisa said: “We are so proud of everything our family has achieved at The Hideaway since 1991.
“As the second generation, we have continued to cherish this beautiful house, carefully curating and adapting to meet the needs of modern travellers.
“Many guests have been staying with us since the beginning, and we are so grateful for their support.
“Now in our 22nd season, our passion continues, but it’s time to hand over the baton, and explore the next phase.”
Graham Wilkinson, senior business agent – hotels at Christie & Co, said: “Opportunities of this quality and scale in Windermere are rare.
“The Hideaway offers a compelling combination of boutique guest accommodation, excellent accessibility, and generous owner’s living space, making it an ideal lifestyle business within the Lake District National Park, with clear options for further growth.”
