Cumbria Chamber of Commerce has announced Platinum Live as its media partner at Conference Cumbria 2026, further strengthening support behind one of the region’s flagship business events.
Taking place on Thursday October 1 at the Pencil Factory in Keswick, Conference Cumbria will bring together hundreds of business leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers from across the county for a day focused on bold thinking, fresh perspectives and meaningful connections.
Platinum Live is a Cumbrian-based creative communications agency providing PR, social media, live events and consultancy services to clients across a wide range of sectors.
Conference Cumbria 2026’s theme is Be Bold. Be Courageous.
Platinum Live first supported the conference in 2025, with managing director Oliver Hodgson taking part in the Young Entrepreneurs Panel.
The business now returns for a second consecutive year as Conference Cumbria’s media partner, continuing its commitment to supporting the county’s business community and helping amplify the event’s reach.
Lesley Robinson, head of business growth & support at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Platinum Live back as our media partner for Conference Cumbria 2026. They are a fantastic Cumbrian business with extensive experience in communications, events and audience engagement, making them a brilliant fit for the conference.
“It’s fantastic to see strong support continuing to build around the event, and we’re excited to be working with organisations that share our ambition to create an inspiring and impactful experience for Cumbria businesses.”
Oliver, of Platinum Live, added: “We’re delighted to be supporting Conference Cumbria once again.
“As a communications agency proudly based in Cumbria, it’s important to us that we play our part in championing the county and supporting events that showcase the talent, ambition and opportunity that exists here.
“Conference Cumbria is a fantastic example of that. The event brings together some of the county’s leading business minds, decision-makers and innovators for a day of meaningful discussion, insight and networking.
“It provides an important platform to share ideas, build connections and highlight the opportunities that continue to drive Cumbria forward. We’re looking forward to being part of the conversation once again.”
Conference Cumbria has grown significantly over recent years and now attracts delegates from across Cumbria and beyond, with ambitions to welcome up to 350 attendees in 2026.
This year’s event will feature headline speaker Sir Clive Woodward alongside a growing programme of inspiring speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities designed to support business growth, leadership and innovation.
Recent speaker announcements have also included Lou Kneath, whose session When Pigs Fly: The Courage to Believe in Impossible Things will explore creativity, resilience and the courage to back bold ideas.
A limited number of partnership opportunities and tickets remain available for businesses looking to align themselves with one of the region’s most prominent business events.
