Around 250 workers at a West Cumbrian factory are set to take industrial action this month over pay.
Members of the Unite union who work at James Walker & Co in Cockermouth will take part in a 24-hour walkout from 6am on September 22.
Unite said a continuous overtime ban will start on September 19.
Workers at the plant, which supplies high-performance fluid sealing products to virtually every industry sector, have rejected a pay offer of three per cent.
Unite said James Walker & Co is a privately owned global industrial business, with a turnover of £44.9m and a profit of £1.4m after tax.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “James Walker is putting profits before people and Unite will not allow it.
“Workers deserve a fair pay offer and our members will have our full support throughout this strike.”
Members involved in the dispute are responsible for manufacturing, moulding, inspecting, documenting, packing and shipping of all products.
Unite regional officer Ryan Armstrong said: “There is still time to stop this industrial action, but it involves James Walker coming back to the table with an offer which is appropriate for our hardworking members.”
