
The Industrial Solutions Hub (iSH) has organised a conference to bring opportunities from the national nuclear decommissioning estate to Cumbria.
Attendees will be presented with opportunity pipelines and real live challenges relevant to iSH clusters in manufacturing, robotics, and digital solutions.
Cumbria’s supply chain will also showcase its technical expertise and capability in solving the nuclear industry’s major challenges.
Companies that attend iSH DECOM CONNECT, supported by Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster, will hear from leaders of organisations looking for solutions to industry challenges.
Among those presenting will be Euan Hutton, CEO, Sellafield Ltd; Seth Kybird, CEO, Nuclear Waste Services; Gareth Frazer, head of manufacturing and engineering solutions, Sellafield Ltd and Fiona Bruce, head of commercial strategy at Nuclear Restoration Services.
There will be market engagement opportunities for supply chain companies relating to MSSS 3m3 Box Tender presented by Cath Murphy, category manager, Sellafield Ltd and for Decommissioning Nuclear Waste Partnership presented by Simon Martin, head of DDP & DNWP at Sellafield Ltd and newly awarded Lot Leads.
Sellafield Ltd Leads and Lot Leads from the recently awarded Infrastructure Delivery Partnership (IDP) contract at Sellafield will also be present to engage with supply chain.
Supply chain companies involved in collaborations will also have the chance to showcase their capabilities and success stories.
