Rebuild has been nominated for a prestigious regional award.
The Cumbria-based organisation combines environmental action with social value, supporting community groups, schools and households while helping industry reduce waste.
Through its reuse shop and partnerships with the construction industry, Rebuild keeps usable materials out of skips and in local communities — creating environmental benefit alongside skills, access and opportunity.
It is a finalist in the Inclusive Innovation Award category at the 2026 Northern Power Women Awards, which celebrate individuals and organisations driving equity, inclusion and social impact across the North of England.
Selected from a record 1,800 nominations and judged by an independent panel of 90 judges, the Inclusive Innovation shortlist recognises Rebuild’s practical approach to making the circular economy work for people and communities.
The winners will be announced on Thursday March 12 at the Northern Power Women Awards celebration in Manchester.
