Leaders from across Cumbria and the UK will come together in the Lake District for International Women’s Day.

Hosted by Pink Link at the Lakeside Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere, this year’s International Women’s Day event is responding to the realities women face when growing businesses and careers.

The event, powered by Porsche Centre South Lakes, aims to create time and space for networking and a full day of learning, sharing and connecting with other women.

Entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist Gillian Ashcroft will headlines the daytime programme, giving insight into building and scaling purpose-led ventures across care, education, property and technology.

Gillian is also the force behind Essential Care, The Think Tank Academy and The Succeed App.

Lunch and refreshments will be served throughout the day and alongside keynote speakers, masterclasses on topics like confidence as a strategic asset, digital security and building sales systems.

The Visibility Lounge on site will also offer a space for social media strategists, content creators, PR professionals, photographers, podcast hosts and marketing experts come together to help women raise their profile.

The evening event, delivered in partnership with Renes of Lancaster, will see Nadine Merabi speak, share her journey from England hockey player to self-taught designer and founder of a globally recognised fashion brand.

A drinks reception will also take place at the start of the evening in the conservatory followed by a private three-course dinner.

Coral Horn, founder of Pink Link, said: “This isn’t about stepping away from business, it’s about strengthening it. The right environment creates the right conversations, and those conversations lead to collaboration, clarity and opportunity.

“That’s why the setting, the conversations, the content and the people all matter.”

More information on joining the day can be found on Pink Link’s website.
