A fast growing Cumbrian HR firm consultancy is marking its second year of business.
Precision HR Limited, founded in 2024 by Rebecca Bird, has grown from a sole trader to a small team supporting more than 40 clients across Cumbria and beyond.
Rebecca, who is a former managing director and shareholder of a Cumbrian training company, set up Precision HR after spending over a decade working in senior leadership roles.
She said the business was built to support small and medium-sized employers with practical HR advice grounded in commercial experience.
Rebecca added: “Small businesses often don’t need textbook HR, they need clear, realistic advice that works in the real world.
“Precision HR was created to give employers confidence that they’re doing the right thing for their people and their business.”
During its second year, the consultancy expanded its services with the addition of three team members specialising in learning and development, neuroinclusion, and HR support.
It has also partnered with Foxgroves Recruitment to offer combined HR and recruitment services.
Precision HR has also raised more than £2,600 for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, through ongoing fundraising linked to new client sign-ups.
It has additionally been recently shortlisted for the BECBC Awards 2025 in the Micro Business category, and Rebecca was nominated for a Northern Power Women “One to Watch” award.
Rebecca added that the the business is planning to continue expanding services and invest in technology to support clients in the year ahead.
