Cumbria Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new policy executive.
Emily Bennett joined the chamber earlier this month and will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s policy work, helping to represent the voice of businesses across Cumbria and influence decision-making at both regional and national levels.
Bringing a background in policy, Emily will work closely with members to understand the challenges and opportunities they face, ensuring their views are effectively communicated to policymakers.
Emily said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce as policy executive.
“Everyone at the chamber has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, which has made for a great start. With my background in policy, I’m looking forward to working closely with members and helping to represent and advocate for Cumbrian businesses.”
