The Cumbrian branch of an estate agency has been named the UK’s best performing operator.
At the annual Fine & Country Conference, Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, the Cumbria team clinched a memorable hat-trick of awards including the top prize of Best UK Operator.
With more than 200 licences nationwide – and more than 300 internationally – Fine & Country is a global network of estate agents specialising in the sale and lettings of premium properties.
To be named the best performing operator across the UK is great recognition for the Fine & Country Cumbria’s team hard work, expert knowledge of the local area and high level of personalised customer service, according to the licensee’s managing director, Louisa Thomson.
She said: “Being named Fine & Country’s best operator in the UK for 2025-2026 is one of the highest accolades which could be bestowed on the Cumbrian team.
“There are some amazing licensees operating nationwide which makes Fine & Country such a strong commodity, and to be named as the best is an outstanding achievement.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the fantastic team we have here at Fine & Country Cumbria. They all go above and beyond to ensure exceptional results for our customers, and they achieve these outcomes by providing the highest quality of customer service, exceptional marketing strategies and knowing the local market trends inside and out.”
The Cumbria team was also presented with the North West Award for being the top performing licensee operating in the region, and the Public Relations Award for the fourth year running for consistently securing national coverage for its properties in some of the country’s most read media publications.
Louisa said: “There have been many challenges for the property sector to overcome in the past 12 months, but our team has shown great adversity and adaptability to find solutions and ensure our customers’ goals are met.”
