Workers at a plant, which provides energy and steam for nuclear site Sellafield, have ended industrial action after accepting an improved pay offer.
Members of Unite who work for PX Limited at the Fellside Combined Heat and Power plant took 15 days of industrial action short of strikes from August 1.
Now, nearly 40 workers voted to accept pay rises between of between 6% and 7.5% from May 2024.
Previously, the workers, including shift managers, operators, electrical and instrumentation technicians and administrators, had been offered deals of between 3% and 4.5%, Unite said.
Built in 1993, the plant provides critical process steam to the Sellafield nuclear reprocessing facility and exports electricity to Sellafield and the National Grid. It has been operated by PX Limited since 2004.
