A financial adviser at Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management, part of the award-winning Lamont Pridmore accountancy firm, has been named as a finalist at this year’s Money Management Financial Planner Awards.

Part of the prestigious Financial Times publication, Money Management holds the annual awards to recognise the country’s leading lights in the financial services industry, which is why David Malin, Director of Financial Services at Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management, is delighted to be shortlisted in the Investment Companies category for 2018.

This category recognises the fantastic work conducted for clients by Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management and in particular David’s work as an independent financial adviser.

Well known for creating innovative Life Wealth Plans, which often include advice on pensions, investments, savings and tax, David has built a strong following of clients drawn from some of the region’s leading businesses.

Speaking about the shortlisting, Graham Lamont, Chief Executive at the firm, said: “These awards are held in extremely high regard by the financial services sector so it is a real honour to even be shortlisted in this category.

“We are extremely fortunate that we are able to pool our expertise across our various departments to provide a truly unique level of service to our clients.”

David and Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management were just a handful of shortlisted candidates out of the hundreds of entries the awards organisers receive.  David was then required to attend an interview with judges in London and answer questions marked against the international financial planning standards set by the Financial Planning Standards Board, which included scenarios where he was expected to provide effective and sound financial advice.

David said that the Lamont Pridmore Asset & Wealth Management team were well-known for providing pro-active advice and expertise in their financial products, services and investments.

He added: “I am really honoured to be selected as a finalist at these national awards. This has truly been a team effort and reflects the fantastic support offered to our clients across the region.

“I have high hopes for the upcoming awards ceremony and look forward to hopefully bringing the trophy home to Cumbria.”

Lamont Pridmore will find out if David has won the award at a ceremony due to take place on Thursday 18 October 2018 at OXO2 in London.

People looking to discuss their wealth management affairs, or who are looking to formulate a Life Wealth Plan, can arrange a one-to-one consultation with David by calling 07701 010452.
