National rail contractor QTS Group is expanding its presence in Cumbria.
The firm, which is headquartered in South Lanarkshire, has a base in Shap and it is expanding its facilities by adding a new yard to its existing office and operational space.
QTS said the expansion would enhance the company’s capacity in Cumbria and surrounding areas.
It is one of a number of expansions for the company, which is also opening offices in Manchester, St Helens and Leighton Buzzard and a depot in Droitwich Spa.
Andy Steel, managing director, said: “This expansion marks a significant step forward for QTS Group as we strengthen our operations across England and Wales. By establishing new offices and facilities, we are not only positioning ourselves to better serve our clients but also creating vital employment opportunities in key regions.”
