A Lake District hotel group has celebrated its staff at an awards ceremony.

Lake District Hotels hosted its fourth Annual Employee Awards at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, celebrating the dedication, hard work, and exceptional service of its team members.

The ceremony brought together over 50 employees, with director Daniella Hope, operations director Gwyn Jones, and HR manager Maria Boyd presenting the awards.

The event highlighted key achievements across several categories, including long service, educational milestones, and internal promotions.

Caroline Jesus, senior reservationist at the hotel group’s head office, was awarded Employee of the Year for her exemplary customer service and positive impact on both guests and colleagues.

Richard Hazard, head gardener at Inn on the Lake, received the Going the Extra Mile Award for his 20 years of dedication in maintaining the hotel’s gardens.

Long service awards were presented to team members marking 10, 15, 20, and even 45 years with the company, demonstrating the strong sense of loyalty and commitment.

Several employees were promoted across various departments further reinforcing the company’s dedication to fostering career growth.

Daniella said: “It was an honour to host our 4th annual Employee Appreciation Awards, celebrating the incredible people at the heart of Lake District Hotels.

“Recognising their passion and dedication was humbling and reinforced how vital they are to our success.

“These awards are a meaningful way to show our gratitude for all they do, and we deeply appreciate their invaluable contributions.”
