Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (CLEP) is strengthening its team by recruiting five permanent posts for the new financial year.

The LEP, one of the 38 business-led partnerships in England and responsible for economic growth, productivity and prosperity in Cumbria, is seeking candidates for several exciting, career-defining roles.

At senior level, there are newly created permanent posts for a Head of Business and Innovation, Head of Skills, and Head of Secretariat.

An experienced PA/Office Manager is also required, together with a new Media and Communications Officer.

In addition, the newly formed Cumbria Careers Hub is working with the Careers and Enterprise Company to recruit an Enterprise Co-ordinator in a temporary role until August 2020.

Cumbria LEP Chief Executive Jo Lappin says: “These are exciting new roles for people with a passion for Cumbria’s economic growth, productivity and prosperity.  The roles offer the chance to be part of a growing, ambitious and effective organisation responsible for working with businesses and our partners to deliver the ambitions outlined within our Local Industrial Strategy.

“CLEP has changed significantly over the past nine months, with a growing reputation locally and nationally.  We are now in a position to extend our team and further strengthen our delivery capability. We are looking for ambitious, high-performing people to join us in taking CLEP to the next level.”
