The directors at Lakeland CBD make no secret of their love for their hometown, Whitehaven, with both Nic Hewitt and Luke Woodend being born and raised there.

In December, Lakeland CBD usually make several appearances at the local Christmas Markets bringing with them new products, newly launched products and special Christmas treats for their loyal customers.

The Whitehaven Traders Day Market in St Nicholas’s church and the normal Whitehaven Market have both been cancelled due to health and safety concerns with the high winds that have been forecast for over the weekend.

However, established local businesses have stepped in to give the new company a helping hand this Christmas and offered them space in their premises to hold pop up shops on Saturday 14th December.

W.Fare Ltd (Fares Chemist) in Whitehaven will play host to the cannabis company from 9am – 4pm for all those shopping in the town centre and Cumberland Electrical have offered the use of their Unit on the Sneckyeat Industrial estate between 9am – 2.30pm, the industrial estate has free parking and easy access for those out and about in the car.

Sam Messenger the Head Pharmacist at W.Fare Ltd. Said “We know how important the Christmas markets are to smaller business’s like Lakeland CBD, they can often be make or break, we have known Nic for years and know how hard she and Luke have worked in building Lakeland CBD so we wanted to give them a helping hand so they can still come and see their customers in Whitehaven even without the market going ahead, it’ll be a pleasure to host them; and, its all in the spirit of Christmas”

So, for all those who were heading out to see the guys at Lakeland CBD you can now catch them on Saturday 14th December at:

W.Fare Ltd, 71-73 Market Place, Whitehaven between 9am – 4pm

Cumberland Electrical Wholesalers Ltd, Unit 8C Sneckyeat Road Industrial Estate, Whitehaven between 9am -2.30pm
