L-R: Adam Skelton, Kerrie Allison and Stuart Jones

[R]eays Coaches have announced three new appointments to it’s management team. Kerrie Allison has joined the team as Head of Sales and Marketing, Adam Skelton as Fleet Engineering Manager and Stuart Jones as Operations Manager. All three will be great additions to Reays, strengthening the existing team as the business continues to grow.

After working for more than 13 years for a local building society and more recently following 4 years as Business Development Manager for David Allen Chartered Accountants, Kerrie Allison joins Reays as Head of Sales and Marketing and is excited for what lies ahead. Kerrie said “I am delighted to join the Reays team which is ever expanding. We offer a fantastic range of services from private hires to holidays, corporate travel to school travel and I am looking forward to promoting these services further and showcasing what makes the Reays experience different.”

After more than 10 years at Stagecoach as an Assistant Engineering Manager in Inverness to more recently Workshop Manager at Morecambe and Workington, Adam Skelton brings a wealth of experience to the Reays team. Adam said “I am honoured to be working for Reays which undoubtably has one of the best fleet of coaches in the UK. The business has already introduced brand new Euro 6 coaches to our fleet in readiness for the legislation changes due in 2019, which will prevent non-Euro 6 vehicles from entering London. We’re well placed for the future and have ambitious plans looking ahead which is exciting to be part of.”

Having worked in the bus and coach industry for more than 25 years, Stuart Jones, Operations Manager is the most recent addition to the Reays team. Stuart has relocated from the south of the country where he previously owned his own coach company Frank Harris Coaches in Grays, Essex which was a member of the industry recognised CoachMarque. It was here he established a relationship with Reays Managing Director, Chris Reay. Stuart said “When the opportunity recently arose at Reays, I was looking for a new challenge and jumped at the chance to join the team. I have previously worked on major projects such as the London Olympics, the Commonwealth Games in London last year, through to the Glastonbury festival alongside National Express. I am full of pride to be part of the Reays team, which I have so much respect for and I am looking forward to bringing new ideas to the table and being an integral part of the company’s future.”

Chris Reay, Managing Director said of the recent appointments “At Reays most of our existing team is home grown talent which we have nurtured and developed. Kerrie, Adam and Stuart all joining us will bring fresh innovative ideas and experience from other industries. Each will be influential in planning the future strategy of the business and achieving the continued growth of Reays. All of them have great careers ahead of them.”
