Mark Gemmell

Lexus Carlisle, part of Border Motor Group has two exciting developments to share.

Mark Gemmell has joined the business as Lexus Sales Manager, offering a solid background in luxury car sales and management.

Mark has a unique knowledge of electric hybrid drive trains and his understanding of the future of cars was an important factor for him taking the sales manager role at Lexus.

Mark wanted to position himself within a prestigious brand which offered the very best in hybrid technology as the market starts to move away from diesel engines. “Anyone who is looking for efficient driving without compromising on stunning quality or performance, must have a look at what Lexus can offer” Mark insists.

“Our self-charging hybrids are now a real alternative to diesel engines, which we all know are coming under increased scrutiny. Their impact on the environment has always been the topic of heated debate and recent revelations around emissions have left many drivers feeling that it’s now time to look at something more relevant for modern living. As the government is making more changes to legislation and law, the time to consider the real alternative to diesel engines is now’’

Mark moved to Cumbria in 2012 from Dumfries and is passionate about the area, particularly riding his motorbike around the Lakes.

Border Motor Group is also delighted to unveil the newly re-furbished Lexus Carlisle showroom, located at Parkhouse Carlisle. The group invested heavily in ensuring the customer experience offers the very latest in customer interaction technology, alongside stunning Japanese ergonomics and interior design.
