Highlights Rural Touring Scheme (North), an organisation which brings shows from national and international companies’ right into the heart of rural communities, is this year being supported by one of Cumbria’s leading Print businesses, H&H Reeds Printers.

Highlights, with their main aim to make arts and theatre accessible to all, work across a network of 80 village halls and community venues throughout Cumbria, County Durham and Northumberland. With the programme including professional theatre, music, dance and contemporary craft, their wide range of performances and exhibitions has enabled over 19,000 people to enjoy the arts right on their very own doorstep.

For a number of years, Highlights have been a respected customer of H&H Reeds Printers and they are extremely grateful for their continued support. Co-Director for Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, Barbara Slack, said: “We are delighted to accept H&H Reeds Printers offer of sponsorship for the third year running. Highlights works with volunteer promoters to bring high quality professional performances to rural areas. We really value our partnership with such a well-established local firm and the support they are giving to the arts in rural areas.”

Specialists within their industry, H&H Reeds Printers are one of the largest dedicated print companies in the North of England, based in Penrith. With over 40 members of staff, producing all types of print, from signage to stationery, and brochures to exhibition boards, they continually strive to meet the needs of this ever-changing industry.

H&H Reeds Printers are always determined to support the local communities in which they operate. Anthony Donnelly, Commercial Manager for H&H Reeds Printers, said:

“H&H Reeds are delighted to be continuing our long running association with Highlights Rural Touring again this year. We look forward to helping them communicate the wide range of shows and attractions they bring to rural communities, especially in Cumbria.”
