The WiredCumbria team have seen the need in Cumbria to help business and communities embrace new and emerging digital and technology developments to help with sustainability and growth.
From using the Internet effectively through to AI, 3D printing, virtual reality, 5G, Lora and the Internet of Things the potential for Cumbria is vast and a relatively untapped potential.
WiredCumbria officially launched Cumbria Digital today 28th November 2018 in Penrith at one of its workshop events at the Cumbria LEP centre.
The workshop exploring the potential of 5G for Cumbria attended by a mix of business public sector and community groups.
Cumbria Digital will offer digital advice, support and digital maturity planning and delivery support free to any Cumbria business or community or charity group.
The support is not restricted by any government delivery criteria and as a result business and groups who may not normally be able to access support and advice can benefit fully.
WiredCumbria look forward to delivering free digital advice and support to business and communities, across Cumbria to ensure Cumbria can exploit the full potential from current and emerging digital and technology for sustainability and growth of Cumbria business communities and the Cumbria economy.
