Global business learning and development company Berrison is launching a bespoke team activity package to support UK SMEs.

The training and experiential events have been created based on 20 years of managing events for blue chip businesses all over the world, adapted to suit the smaller organisation.

Martyn Mills of Berrison will be heading up the new SME events team alongside Paul O’ Reilly, who joined the company at the end of 2018. Says Martyn: “We still manage events for 800+ people at conferences and for larger businesses, but we have recognised that in many ways, smaller UK businesses have a stronger need for team unity and engagement – particularly with the rise in remote and flexible working.”

Berrison is based in Kendal and currently delivers large-scale events for clients including Airbus, ISS, PHS and Defence & Space companies, with a team of associates travelling to many parts of the world.

There are nine themed events in the new Berrison SME events portfolio, which vary in style and size. Most can be delivered in one day and are ideal for between five and 20 people, working in any industry.

Continues Martyn: “The ‘team-building’ and ‘experiential’ events business model of 10 years ago has changed beyond all recognition. This is not about creating an event for a ‘jolly’, this is about devising tailored packages around proven products, to help smaller business teams engage effectively, develop their competencies and work more successfully.”

Berrison is a business and leadership development consultancy delivering a number of leadership programmes, team coaching, events and activities to add value to businesses of all sizes and ensure they work more productively, solve problems and achieve their business goals.
