Penrith based interiors boutique, Lakes Living has officially launched its e-commerce platform. The bricks and mortar shop, which opened in April stocks a range of stylish furnishings including contemporary home decor, elegant furniture and chic lighting, sourced from suppliers across Cumbria and Europe.

All the items in the shop are now available online, with the aim of growing a customer base outside of Cumbria.

The pair behind the home decor shop, Natalie Brass and Andrew Murray-Jones, have worked to develop the website themselves, ensuring that a seamless yet tailored customer experience is at the centre of the website concept.

The couples love for simplistic Scandinavian inspiration, muted colours and simplistic pieces is reflected both in the website design and product range available on the website. The online product range has been put together by Natalie to suit a variety of home styles, from urban interiors to country homes, which they hope will appeal to a large online audience.

Commenting on the launch of the website, Andrew and Natalie stated “We’ve had such a brilliant first month in business, with lots of customers coming through the doors!

“The Lakes Living website is the next stage of the business and we hope that it means we can tap into a customer base outside of the local area, whilst raising the profile of Cumbria.

“With the ever growing popularity of online shopping, we felt it was really important to have a digital side of the business. We hope that our website will give online customers just as special experience as our walk-in customers.”

Lakes Living is now open, located at 4 Cornmarket, Penrith, CA11 7DA.
