Thomson Hayton Winkley have just completed the busiest community event sponsorship week of the year.

This week saw the different parts of the Thomson Hayton Winkley Business; Legal, Estate agency, Financial services and the Rural Law Practice sponsoring various events across the South Lakes district.

These included The Ullswater Sheepdog society Patterdale Dog day, Grasmere Lakeland Sports and Show, the first Kirkby Lonsdale Big Sports Weekend completed by Rural Law Practice sponsorship of the Lads Night Out, show and sale of breeding rams at J36 last night.

Thomson Hayton Winkley Solicitors sponsor Grasmere Lakeland Sports and Show on August Bank Holiday Sunday by providing prize money of £500 to the lady who beats the Ladies course record for the Senior Guides Race. This year, although the winner, Hannah Horsburgh, came close, the record wasn’t broken.

Simon Theobald, Director of THWlegal said: “Thomson Hayton Winkley are passionate believers in sponsoring local community events. We are fortunate to work and live in an area where the sense of community identity is very strong and as a business with a long heritage in the region, we are proud to be involved with events that are unique to our area.”

Angela Horn, Thomson Hatyon Winkley Estate Agents said: “It was great to be involved in the First Big Sports weekend in Kirkby Lonsdale.  Our office in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale is still relatively new.  We are passionate about supporting community events, especially those related to sport and having fun!”
