A Cumbrian estate agent has been awarded top grades in the Best Estate Agency Guide (BEAG) for the fourth consecutive year.
The BEAG awarded prizes to both the Sales and Lettings Departments of Hackney & Leigh based on the “outstanding level of service and care they have shown towards their clients”.
Competition for the awards was fierce, with over 25,000 Estate Agents across the country being assessed.
Derrick Hackney, director at Hackney & Leigh said: “We are so proud of our team, who are the people who really deserve the credit for this award. Having won the award for the last three years, we had high hopes for this year, but to be confirmed as winners for the fourth year in a row is incredible, and a true testament to all the hard work and effort everyone dedicates to helping our clients.”
John Leigh, also a director at the firm, added: “This year will be our 40 year anniversary in business, and never did Derrick and I expect that 40 years on, not only would we have a network of 9 local offices across this beautiful part of the world, but that we would be winning awards as one of the best Estate Agents in the country.

According to the BEAG website, the assessment, which was conducted by Rightmove and the Property Academy, looks at over 1.5 million transactions, 25 million leads and 1.5 billion property views, and by winning the awards, puts Hackney & Leigh in the top 5% of UK Estate Agents for their ability to provide the best Marketing, Services and Results.
